The Occupational Therapy Difference
What Is Occupational Therapy?
At Gowan Consulting, we create the bridge between work and health. We support employees in learning the skills and tools to stay at work and return to work successfully. We support employers in providing reasonable workplace accommodations for their teams.
Our Occupational Therapists across Canada understand the importance of having the right support to get back in the game of life at home and work. An Occupational Therapist is a regulated health professional who works collaboratively with workplace parties to support an employee who is returning to work or staying at work with a disability or health condition. Each therapist assesses the worker, the work and the workplace to find the optimal fit.

Workplace

Optimal Fit
Provision of tools, strategies and supports to enable the employee to perform the essential duties of their job.
We provide creative and individualized solutions to meet the needs of every employee and organization.
